"All that you touch you change". -O Butler
I am a lifelong student of personal growth, love and parenting and feel like one of the truest things I know is how much more I have to learn. I have been teaching Gender Studies for over a decade and supporting students navigate higher education through leadership building for about 15 years at Portland Community College. I am grateful to have worked with individuals impacted by domestic and sexual violence, as a crisis-line advocate, support group facilitator, restraining order support person, shelter worker, and outreach educator. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2007 and deeply appreciate being entrusted with people’s struggles, lives and triumphs. The theories that most impact my practice are based in racial and social justice with a heavy dose of feminism.
